A collection of profiles showcasing Women in Neuroscience

A small group of fellow female neuroscientists and I co-founded Stories of WiN in 2019 with the primary aim of increasing the visibility of Women in Neuroscience and to provide role models for young women aspiring toward STEM careers.

This project highlights the stories of female neuroscientists at different career stages and from diverse backgrounds and subfields; it features written profiles and podcast interviews with female neuroscientist academics. Each scientist’s profile featured on the site is written based on an in-depth interview with curated questions underscoring her academic achievements and sources of motivation, as well as some of the challenges on her journey. 

I designed and maintained the Stories of WiN website from 2019-2023, updated and periodically restructured it as new profiles were added and as new team members joined (now >20 members!).

I also designed the logo above for use on website, podcast, digital thumbnails & print media (e.g., conference poster, merch), summarized weekly written profiles, and designed & disseminated a monthly email newsletter.
